Opening of the photo exhibition My Neighbor: Lived Orthodoxy Across World Communities, curated by Christopher Vlahonasios (Australia), followed by a keynote lecture from researcher Milja Radovic (University of Vienna).
Day 2 (Wednesday, Nov 11, Braunstein Palace, Iași) – Aesthetics of the Sacred: What Does Faith Look Like on Screen?
An interactive colloquium bringing together speakers and attendees from Romania, Poland, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Serbia to explore the visual languages that make the sacred visible and intelligible in contemporary cinema and art.
II. Keynote Lecture: "Beyond Entertainment: Symbol and Faith in Cinema" by Jonathan Pageau
Jonathan Pageau examines how modern cinematic narratives mirror foundational Christian structures and shape our shared perception of reality.
III. "Revolution of Role Models – Real. Committed. Meaningful" Educational Tour
Screenings of documentary-essay films in primary and secondary schools across Iași, Botoșani, and Neamț counties, followed by Q&A sessions with director Cristina Chirvasie.
IV. "Next Stop: Conversations on Film, Roles, and the Choices That Define Us" with Actor Toma Cuzin
Students will join actor Toma Cuzin for an informal discussion on cinema and life decisions aboard the vintage Iași Coffee Tram.
V. Traditional Romanian Music Concert – Taraful Rădăcini
A live performance of traditional Romanian folk music during the festival's Opening Gala.
VI. Byzantine Chant Concert – Choir of the "Dumitru Stăniloae" Faculty of Orthodox Theology
A sacred choral concert performed during the festival's Closing Gala.
