Liber Artis Orchestra is a musical group from Iasi, known for its creative and non-conformist approach to interpreting classical and contemporary music. Officially founded in 2008, the orchestra aims to create a genuine connection with the audience, offering innovative performances that combine music with elements of humor and unconventional instruments.
In 2023, Liber Artis Orchestra gave several remarkable performances at the Sala Unirii (former Victoria Cinema) in Iasi. One of these was "ABOUT ME(N)", a performance that combined music, dance and theater to explore relationships between men and women. The event was directed by Anca Șerbănuță and conducted by Raluca Zaharia, and featured a cast of renowned actors and vocal soloists.
The orchestra also collaborated with the Ad Libitum Voices group in an anniversary concert to mark the group's 10th anniversary. The performance took place on February 25, 2023 and was a classical crossover event, blending Romanian and international music in moving harmony.
