Synopsis: At the end of summer, Maya, a teenager who has newly graduated from high school, wants to study abroad, but her mother opposes it, causing the two to argue over this matter. Searching for the hidden inherited money at her grandparents' house, Maya discovers that her mother took it to stop her. Maya meets “Little Maya”, a symbolic version of her own childhood. They spend a day together, during which the girl shares her fears about leaving and the relationship between her and her mother. The childhood version becomes a protective “little angel”, offering her the necessary emotional support. Before bedtime, the teenager tells her an allegorical story about Princess Sofia, who runs away from the palace at age 18 to be free. The fairy tale mirrors reality: Maya packs her bags and leaves for the airport. Just like the princess who overcomes obstacles alone, protected by an unseen angel, Maya finds the courage to move forward. In the end, she symbolically embraces her past and leaves it behind.
