Somebody's gonna kill somebody else. I wish it was just a movie.
Do we give in to .... or look for another happy ending?
There is a weapon capable of stopping any conflict. It's already been used in France, Spain, Ireland,
Mexico, Colombia, Rwanda... and it works, always.
But you have to be very brave to use it.
The Greeks call it "hyper-dar": the BIGGEST DAR.
A movie director faces a creative dilemma: all the endings of his stories are predictable - characters take revenge and the conflict ends in violence. Determined to find a different kind of ending, he sets off on a journey around the world to discover real stories of forgiveness in the most unexpected contexts: between criminals and victims, between family members torn apart by hatred, between former enemies in armed conflicts.
Throughout the movie, Juan Manuel Cotelo gathers moving testimonies from countries such as Spain, France, Colombia, Rwanda and Northern Ireland, where forgiveness is not only possible, but profoundly liberating and transformative. The film conveys the message that forgiveness is not only an act of courage, but also the key to inner peace and reconciliation between people.
Forgiveness is the greatest gift we can give to others - and to ourselves. It is not a sign of weakness, but a force that can break the chains of hatred and revenge.
