The story tells of Petko, who, after the death of his son in an avalanche, finds solace in the idea of building a chapel in honor of all those who have perished in the mountains. The difficult access and high costs temporarily halt the construction. Gradually, through donations and the efforts of many volunteers, the chapel is built stone by stone, with each visitor to the nearby waterfall adding their own stone.
In 2018, it is consecrated as a symbol of human strength, faith, and unity, as well as a memorial to all those who live on in our hearts.
