On the eve of a life-changing event, a father and son are pushed to the limits of trust, loyalty, and love.
After enduring relentless bullying, twelve-year-old Toma is expelled from school. With nowhere else to turn, he is taken in by his estranged father, Nemo—a mysterious man who vanished when Toma was just two years old. They retreat to a remote ancestral village, where Nemo’s return is met with hostility and suspicion from the locals.
Unafraid and determined, Nemo sets out to teach his son the ancient tradition of deer hunting. Over the course of a tense and fateful weekend, Toma is forced to grow up quickly, learning survival, independence, and the unsettling truths about his father’s past—truths that will change him forever.
