Synopsis: This documentary is a production based on the suffering and spiritual resilience of the nuns following the closure of the Seraphim-Diveevo Monastery in 1927. The film, along with the connected play “Sisters” produced by the “Mir” Association of Sarov, reconstructs the Way of the Cross and the martyrdom of the monastics (such as Martha, Pelagia, Matrona, and the martyrs of Puzino), who kept the flame of faith hidden despite persecution, arrests, and exile to Soviet camps.
