Violeta Gorgos was born on April 16, 1967 in the village of Fundurii Vechi, Glodeni district, Republic of Moldova. Since childhood she was passionate about painting (she has returned to her old passion now), but her parents enrolled her in music school, so she played the piano every day for 9 years, graduating in parallel with middle school and music school. He graduated from the “Ştefan Neaga” College of Music in Chisinau, the State University, the Faculty of Philology, the Institute of Arts “G. Muzicescu” from Chişinău, Faculty of Film and TV Directing, then followed doctoral studies at the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Institute of Art History and Theory, Department of Cinematographic Art - Television.
He started his creative activity as a director at the National Television. She is the author of the cycle of shows on “TV-Record” (1990-2003) “Teleradio-Moldova”. In 2006, he decided to resign from National Television.
Currently he settled in Iași, working as a screenwriter and director for OWN TV Studio. Member of the Union of Filmmakers from the Republic of Moldova.
He won numerous awards and directed several films, among which we mention: “Simboluri triste”, 1996, film-musical ‒ director; “The story of light and darkness”, 1998, musical - screenwriter and director; “Sad winter story”, 2000 ‒ screenwriter and director; “Time passes, time comes”, 2000 ‒ screenwriter and director; “Great Love Film”, 2000 ‒ screenwriter and director; “ Sin from sin”, WN TV Studio quantor, 2002, “A mother from the shadow kingdom”, 2006, “Our fathers”, 2006, “Sex in the USSR”, film essay, 2008, director ; “Voices of Putna”, 2014, TVR Iaşi, 2014, TVR Iaşi, “World, take me in your arms”, 2014, etc.
Her work has been appreciated in international festivals, her projects are developed in specialized laboratories, her scripts are judged at pitch sessions, because she always has a story to tell.
